A wonderful time with the Make-A-Wish America kids

Two special kids visiting Hawaii had their wish come true when they got to meet Duane “Dog” Chapman and his posse on Tuesday. 12-year-old Taylor Budysz and 13-year-old Asah Hoddel of WI who have both been diagnosed with life-threatening diseases, wrote a letter to Make-A-Wish about how much they wanted to meet Chapman and his crew. Budysz is diagnosed with Adrenocortical Carcinoma, a rare disease where cancer cells form on the outer layer of the adrenal gland. Her letter stated that she wanted “to meet Dog, Beth, and the crew” because “they are so cool!” Hoddel is diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome and Scoliosis. DiGeorge syndrome results in poor development of several body systems. “I’m so honored and humbled to meet these very special kids – it just blows me away that their wish is to meet me,” said Chapman. “Taylor and Asah have been through so much in their short lives, and if I can give them even one moment of happiness between all the doctors’ visits and pain, I will do whatever I can to make that happen.”
